Today, a conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli, a major representative of the general culture and education of the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples, was held at the Khorezm Academy of Mamun. This conference was held jointly with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Khorezm Academy of Mamun on the basis of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 9, 2024 "On the wide celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Firaghi". This, in turn, proves that the poet is a creator who has taken his place in the history of world literature and culture. This conference, held by the Khorezm Academy of Mamun, once again proves that the work of Makhtumkuli, which played an important role in the unity and friendship of the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples, is alive today, and the love of generations of the two peoples for the poet's work is inexhaustible and eternal.

The conference was filled with interesting questions and answers, debates, in which students, young students, interested researchers also participated and received answers to their questions.
