The creation of the Museum of the Mamun Historical-Khorezm Academy fully reflects the ideas and opinions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev on the need for a deeper study of the greatest scientific and spiritual achievements of our great ancestors. The idea of creating a modern museum "Dorul Hikmat val Maorif" also belongs to the head of state, and during his visit to Khorezm region on March 12-13, 2020, the President paid special attention to this issue. The Mamun Academy was founded at the beginning of the 11th century, and many famous and great scientists lived in it. Their legacy has made a great contribution to the development of science, not only of one nation or people, but of all mankind. If not for such great scientists of the East, modern medicine, space exploration, nanotechnology, atomic energy, bioengineering and so on. there would be no progress in the sciences.

The scientific concept and thematic-exposition plan of the Dorul Hikmat Val Maorif museum was developed by the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, doctor of art history, professor Akbar Abdullaevich Khakimov. For this reason, the creative team of the Ziynat Design company used innovative ideas and solutions based on modern digital and computer technologies in the exposition of the Dorul Hikmat val Maorif museum.

A distinctive feature of the interior design by the designers is associated with the area of the main hall, which is 173 square meters of octagon in plan. Their images are presented in mapping (the technique of image on a map) along with visual images, their drama and content were prepared by Academician A.Khakimov and Doctor of Philosophy, art critics M.Abdullaev.

Small rooms are located along the perimeter of the main hall, each of which reflects the activities of great scientists – members of the Mamun Academy. At the entrance to the main hall there is a mosque on the right, and the interior of the library "Dorul Hikmat val Maorif" on the left. The mosque is an altar pointing to the qibla, represented by a traditional Quranic tablet, prayer rug, turban, etc. More information on the interior of the library. The library contains wax statues of young scientists who worked in "Darul Hikmat wal Maorif" Beruni and Ibn Sina, as well as videos about the activities of these scientists on the walls of the library. In the remaining small rooms, the walls are decorated with compositions reflecting the specifics of the activities of one or another scientist, as well as household items, members of the Mamun Academy – complete and wonderful information about the activities of scientists.
