On May 26, 2026, an international scientific seminar was organized jointly by the Department of “Exact Sciences” of the Khorezm Mamun Academy and the Department of “Algebra and Mathematical Engineering” of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Urgench State University.

During the seminar, Professor Pedro-Jose Torres Villarroya of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Granada (Spain) delivered a lecture titled “Periodic Solutions for the Lorentz Force Equation.” Current issues related to differential equations and fundamental physics were discussed during the event.

The seminar also included discussions on prospects for further international scientific cooperation. In particular, it was announced that a scientific visit of Baltayeva Umida Ismoilovna, Chief Researcher of the Department of “Exact Sciences” of the Khorezm Mamun Academy, to the University of Granada in collaboration with Professor Pedro-Jose Torres Villarroya is planned for 2026.

The visit is expected to be carried out within the framework of a grant project of the European Mathematical Society (EMS) and will contribute to the further development of international scientific cooperation.
