May 10-12, 2017 in the National Exhibition Complex "Uzexpocenter", the annual   Republic 10th Fair of Innovative Ideas, Technologies and Projects is held.

Organizers of the event: Agency for Science and Technology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Proceeding from the tasks set by the President of the country, Sh.Mirziyoyev during a meeting with academicians and leading scientists of Uzbekistan, special attantion is paid to innovative technologies aimed at solving specific problems of economic sectors. For  this reason  the direction "Implemented innovative developments" is organized. 62 trends of series of products are produced in this direction at domestic large enterprises on the basis of advanced innovative technologies.

The exposition by scientific institutions of Uzbekistan Science-Academy  enjoys great demand among visitors. In this Fair 14 scientific research institutes of the Republic of Uzbekistan exposed 86 scientific outriches.

Also, the  Tashkent 3rd International Innovation Forum was organized in the framework of the Fair. The main goal of the Forum was to discuss global trends in the development of national innovation systems, analyze the govermental issues and their formation factors, and various aspects of activating innovation in Uzbekistan.

This Forum is mainly devoted to the prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of innovation. To this end, the international conference titled  "Uzbek-German Innovative Dialogue - the Future for Building a Knowledge-Based Society" is held in the framework of the event. In the international conference the work is conducted in two sections.

Leading scientists, specialists from Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as the UN, UNESCO, the World Bank and other foreign organizations participated in the Forum.
