On September 4, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, a scientific-practical conference was held dedicated to the 1052nd anniversary of the birth of the great scholar, thinker, and scientist Abu Rayhon Biruni. The event was organized by the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Society of Historians of Uzbekistan and was titled “The Great Thinker Abu Rayhon Biruni and His Contribution to World Science.”   

The conference was attended by a group of scientists, including Honorary Professor of the University, Ph.D. Q. Sobirov, Scientific Secretary of the Ichan Qalʼa Museum-Reserve, Ph.D. K. Khudoyberganov, Member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, poet Q. Muhammadrizo, Professor of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, Ph.D. Mirsadiq Is’haqov. Senior Fellow of the Khorezm Mamun Academy, PhD Gulistan Artikbayeva also participated with a report on the topic "Scientific connection between Abu Raykhan Beruni and modern exact sciences." The speakers expressed their opinions on the importance of Abu Raykhan Beruni's scientific heritage today and his incomparable contribution to world science.
