A new treatise has been published thanks to the joint efforts of Mamun, head of the laboratory at the Khorezm Academy, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Gavkharjon Durdieva, and Umid Bekmukhammad, senior researcher at the academy and Doctor of Philosophy in History. The book, published by the Bukhara publishing house Durdona, is entitled Pahlavan Mahmud: Life, Work, Creativity and Complex.

In this risala, the life, work and creativity of Pahlavan Mahmud are analysed on the basis of historical manuscript sources, facts and opinions from scientific and artistic literature. The historical and architectural significance of the mausoleum and complex erected on the site of Pahlavan Mahmud's burial, and the ornaments found there, are also examined. In addition, the works of Khorezm artists who created the image of Pahlavan Mahmud and their works of fine art are highlighted. In addition to this, the risala includes rubaiyat related to the work of Pahlavan Mahmud.
