The book ‘Holy Places of the Khiva Khanate’ was published in co-authorship by Sh. Matyakubov, Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) and F. Zhumaniyazova, Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Khorezm Academy of Ma'mun.  This monograph tells about the history of spiritual patrons of Khiva khanate Sayyid Alovuddin, Pahlavon Mahmud, Uch Aulia Baba, Sayyid Mohi Roya Jahan, Turt Shavvaz, and also gives information about great personalities - Khiva khans and their close relatives, ministers, heirs and spiritual patrons of that time who found eternal rest in these holy places.

The monograph is important in highlighting the history of Khorezm, which is considered an integral part of the history of Uzbekistan, and in the development of pilgrimage tourism. This monograph is intended for students, pupils of secondary schools and a wide audience interested in our glorious history.
