Researchers of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Khorezm Ma'mun Academy, Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) Sh.Matyakubov and Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) F.Zhumaniyazova co-authored the book ‘Events in the Khanate of Khiva’ (Part II).  This book tells about historical events that took place on the territory of the Khiva khanate in XVII - XIX and early XX centuries, about life processes that took place on the territory of the khanate, as well as leading figures of Khorezm historiography, as Khiva khan Allakulikhan his reforms, as well as prominent figures of Khorezm historiography, poet, historian and translator Shermukhammad Munisa, his contemporary and close relative Muhammad Riza Agahi, unique historical works by historian and translator Muhammad Yusuf Bayoni covering the history of the Khiva Khanate and khans.

The book is intended for students of higher educational institutions, doctoral students, researchers and schoolchildren, as well as for the general public interested in the history of Khiva.
