A scientific expedition was organized by the researchers of the Khorezm Mamun Academy and the1st-year PhD student (Masharipov Shokir) to the Romitan district of the Bukhara region to explore and identify a new species of the plant Chistanche sp. The plant Chistanche sp. was brought from the 424-444 km of the A-380 “G’uzor-Nukus-Qung’irot-Beyneu” highwaypassing through this area, and it was studied in laboratory conditions together with N.Y. Beshko, a senior researcher at the  “Plant Protection and Ecology” laboratory of the Institute of  Botany. It was determined that this species is Cistanche flava (C.A.Mey.) Korsh.
